A Physician Scale that provides precision weighing information as well as height indication.

The primary incentive for the requested new design was to reduce the production cost of the previous physician scale. This limitation enabled the team to produce creative solutions while considering an optimal usage of materials and weight.
One design challenges was to find a structural solution that will be easily used by the caregiver & the person being weighed. It was also important for the team to develop a new design language that differentiates the new scale from other products in its field.
Another challenge was to create holistic design: Embedding the height meter naturally in the scale & combining various materials and various manufacturing technologies into a complete coherent product.
